As SUM finished yet another lovely site for one of our clients, a common challenge surfaced: all she wanted to do was populate her news page with (1) the photos she took, (2) day or night, and darn it, they had to be (3) right side up and cropped here and there.

2008 Addy Awards

There's nothing quite like winning a bushel of ice cold Addys.

Every year the New Mexico Advertising Federation hosts the Annual Addy Awards. The Addys recognize creative excellence in advertising here in NM. From Russia, no love.

What's in a name? Apparently, in Russia, it's the majority ownership of the government. "A new law came into force at the start of the year banning companies from naming themselves after a country. It means that firms with 'Russia' in their name may be forced to re-brand - an expensive process that will boost the government's coffers."

Phil Dusenberry, rest in peace
